Trustee Training
Prudential Pensions Management Zambia (PPMZ) aims to become a valued voice as a thought leader on matters of saving, protection, compliance and implementation of good Corporate Governance. The Pension and Insurance Authority (PIA) had issued Corporate Governance Guidelines among other guidelines which took effect 1st January 2021. The Guidelines provided among others the need for Trustees to be inducted and trained.
Prudential Pensions Management Zambia offers Trustees Inductions and Trainings that are intended to streamline the pensions industry’s practice of good corporate governance and aimed at helping the Trustees better understand their Roles, Duties and Responsibilities. The Board of Trustees for Pension Schemes are placed with a fiduciary duty to ensure that pension scheme funds are managed within the provision of the Pension Scheme Regulation Act and other applicable legislations. PPMZ endeavours to ensure that at the end of the training, Trustees appreciate the need of making good investment decisions and are enlightened on the importance of member engagement and proper Administration of the Scheme.
